Join us for a mountain hike in the stunning Åre region. Experience the breathtaking nature and weather as we explore the mountains. One thing’s for sure – we’ll get some weather!
Follow an experienced and certified mountain leader through the fjells and feel secure and relaxed throughout the journey.
Mountain Hiking with Husky – Dog Cuddles Guaranteed
In addition to everything else, each participant will have their own husky! We’ll bring along a trained sleddog on summer-vacation, a husky that loves all the attention it can get. Enjoy dog cuddles during every break we take. (Optional to borrow a husky)
Throughout the day, you’ll receive valuable tips and knowledge for the future, including learning to read maps and navigate with a compass.
Food always tastes better outdoors, so we’ll stop for a much-needed lunch during the full-day hike, and of course, we’ll take time for a cozy fika with coffee and a bun during both full- and half-day hikes.
We’ll take turns and help each other hold the leashes of our furry friends.
We’ll go through the equipment we have for our hike and get acquainted with our huskies who will accompany us throughout the day.
Pack your backpack for a day in the mountains; we’ll take care of the dogs!
Full-Day Hike
Starts at 08:00 and ends around 16:00
The hike will be in varying terrain. Distance will depend on weather conditions and the group. Keep in mind that participants will have different physical abilities.
Half-Day Hike
Starts at 08:00 and ends at 12:00, or starts at 13:00 and ends at 17:00

GOOD TO KNOW
The dogs we bring with us work as sled dogs during the winter. They have a lot of energy and might pull a bit on the leash. The dogs are used to living outdoors year-round, handle all weather well, and love being outside.
While they enjoy attention and cuddles, this will happen on the dogs’ terms. They decide when and who they want to be petted by.
Be prepared for an unattended bun or other edible items to mysteriously disappear.
