Hiking with Husky

Hike up and out onto the mountain, and enjoy the nature and weather during our mountain trek. One thing is certain—we will experience the weather!

Follow an experienced and certified mountain leader into the mountains and feel safe and relaxed throughout the entire tour.

In addition to everything else, we’ll each have a dog companion with us! We’ll bring along a sled dog on summer break—a husky that loves all the attention it can get. Of course, dog cuddles are on the agenda during every break we take. (Optional to bring a husky along.)

Throughout the day, you’ll receive valuable tips and knowledge for the future, perhaps even learning to read a map and navigate with a compass.

Food always tastes better outdoors, so we’ll stop for a much-needed lunch during the day (full-day hike), and of course, we’ll take time for a cozy fika (both full-day and half-day hikes).

We’ll take turns and help each other with holding the leash of our furry friends.

We’ll go over the gear we have with us on our mountain hike and get to know our summer huskies, who will keep us company throughout the day.

A detailed packing list will be sent upon booking the experience.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Husky, a summer-resting sled dog that loves hiking in the mountains and getting lots of cuddles.
  • Coffee/Tea
  • Bun

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:

  • Water
  • Lunch (for full-day hikes)

GOOD TO KNOW:

The dogs we bring along work as sled dogs during the winter. They have a lot of energy and may pull on the leash. They are used to living outdoors year-round, handle all kinds of weather well, and love being outdoors.

While they enjoy attention and cuddling, this will happen on the dogs’ terms. They decide when and from whom they want to be petted.

Be prepared that an unattended bun, or any other mysterious edible item, might disappear.

AGE

  • Children: 0 to 14 years.
